A wise man told me earlier today that a key which can open many locks is special. A lock that can be opened by many keys is a shitty lock.
That wise man’s name was Johnny Love, opener of many locks, proprietor of wisdom, inevitable Magic: the Gathering beatdowns, and electronic rave music from hell. We’ll be playing a show with Johnny Love tonight at Torch @ 10PM: $3 cover. Johnny just relocated to Charlotte, NC, which will hopefully be great for the electronic music scene there. I’m personally happy to have a fellow guido that makes electronic music in the area.
Speaking of guidos that make electronic music, have you heard of Jack Lomo? Well, if you haven’t: it’s time. Jack Lomo is on Crack House Records (yes!) and is heavy as hell. He just released the EP “I Womma Weed” two weeks ago, and I definitely saw JFK of MSTRKRFT fame bragging about some remix of this track (which is super excellent) on Twitter the other day.
