CMNDer aka(Matthew Bowers)

Known for having one of the most renowned and intense music and club scenes, Paris is a melting pot of cultures where the world’s newest and most experimental music becomes intertwined and transformed into pure spectacle. At the youthful age of 19, Matthew Bowers (aka CMNDer) moved to Paris to gain inspiration and immerse himself in this burgeoning musical environment.

Upon returning to the states, Bowers landed in Charleston, SC, and began collecting new and vintage pieces of DJ equipment and slowly building his repertoire of music. With Paris’ French electro outlook fresh in his head, Bowers began to create his own minimal style. “Personally I really like tracks with stripped down beats, there is something very primal and appealing about music like this.”

Combining electro and techno house beats with old school and hip hop vocals, Bowers mixes up a sound that makes the room pulse. “I try to stay on top of the latest releases from around the world and maintain a pretty high standard of musical integrity in playing what I like.”
